Community Awards 2013 '“ Best Coach

Jake Curran was nominated by Karen Fearns for his work with the under-tens Bognor Regis Youth Team. “Working for Pompey in the community – long hours, weekends – Jake gives up his time to manage the under tens Bognor Regis Youth Team,” she said.

“Come rain or shine, Jake is there for boys and parents.

“This season the boys won the cup winner’s cup and came second in the league table.”

Hailey Hodd was nominated for Best Coach by Nikki Rowling.

“Hailey is the coach for the Wonder Girls pompom troupe and spends so much time making sure everyone is happy with the dances she puts together,” she said.

“She spends time with the children who have disabilities, just helping them and making sure they are happy with what is going on. Hailey takes time to talk to the girls/boys with any problems they may have, she will listen to everybody.

“Hailey has a young family of her own, but is still at the end of the phone when anyone needs her.”
