Chip off the new block

STEYNING Grammar School's new teaching block '“ which cost more than £1million and has some of the most advanced technology in the county '“ was officially opened last Wednesday.

Head teacher Peter Senior welcomed staff, councillors and local figures to the school for the opening of the Chanctonbury Block and thanked all those who had worked so hard to ensure its completion.

He particularly thanked Tulip Computers, which worked with the school to install a wireless computer network.

The Chanctonbury Block was officially opened by county council cabinet member Sally Green.
