Child Porn - man charged

A 35 YEAR-OLD St Leonards man has been charged with making and distributing indecent images of children.

Ian Baldock, a computer technician from Cliftonville Road, is charged with 13 counts of distributing indecent images of children on April 18 2003, and 32 counts of making indecent images of children, from April 2003 to August 2004.

Baldock appeared at Hastings Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning, and will return next Friday for a full committal hearing.

Officers from the High Tech Crime Unit arrested Baldock on Monday at 11am. He was questioned at Hastings Police Station and officially charged at 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Images seized are said to include pictures of very serious sexual abuse of youngsters.
