Trampolining club members in Bognor Regis are among those to benefit from grants handed out by Arun District Council.

The Dragon Flyers received 800 from the latest awards decided by the council's grants panel towards the club's quest to achieve the British Gymnastics' Gym Mark status in the next year.

More than 24,000 was handed over in all. Panel members considered the applications of 19 voluntary, community and charitable organisations.

Cllr Norman Dingemans, in charge of Arun's economic regeneration work, said: "I am delighted we can offer these local groups and organisations a small boost which could make a big difference to them.

"It can also make a real difference to the lives of the people they support."
