Catsfield pupils have a Big Tidy Up ready for the Jubilee celebrations

AS part of the school’s Jubilee celebrations, Panthers class at Catsfield Primary took part in The Big Tidy Up to help the village prepare for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The children were provided with tabards, gloves and bin bags from Keep Britain Tidy for their litter pick last Friday.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the morning and were enthusiastic about keeping their village tidy.

Joined by members of the parish council, the children managed to fill several bags of litter between them.

The event was organised by Catsfield Primary School teacher Mrs Hodgson.
