Car crime on the rise

CAR owners in Worthing are being warned to be on their guard following a rise in car crime in the last month.

According to the police, there has been an increase in the number of cars in the town being broken into and damaged.

A Volvo parked in Woodland Avenue, Salvington, was broken into sometime between midnight on January 25 and 8am on January 26. Bank cards and a Game Boy were stolen.

If anyone sees a car crime taking place they should ring 999.
