Camber village voice

Camber Country is happening on March 17th between 8 and 11.30pm, Ron & Ash are providing the entertainment.

Ring Terry, 01797 226 887, or Pete, 01797 225 250 if you want more details. On Sunday 18 March at 10.30am, there is a Mothering Sunday Service at Camber Church. This is a lovely service of thanksgiving for mothers, those who are with us and those whom we can only remember with affection. There will be refreshments afterwards. Remember if you want to go to the free tea provided for Cambers older residents at 2pm at the Camber Castle on 30 March, you need to book in for it to guide catering requirements. A big thank you to Trish Locke and the Camber Residents Association for setting it up for us, and a big thanks to Maggie, landlady of the Camber Castle for providing the venue. Don’t miss this one folks, it’s the last one as the season is about to start. The sandwiches and cakes are not to be missed. Trish’s number is 01797 224 403, book your spot. The Camber Parish Council meets Tuesday 20 March at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall. Go along and find out how the administration of Camber works.
