Tree planting: Beryl was lucky in its application made last autumn to the Woodland Trust for a free copse pack of 30 saplings (10 Silver Birch, 10 Rowan and 10 Wild Cherry trees). The saplings have just been delivered and WI members propose to have a planting session starting at 10.00 am on Saturday 18th March. The site will be on land in Brede where local residents are free to walk, enjoy the beautiful local countryside, and see how the saplings gradually grow, develop and blend into their setting to provide additional appropriate habitat for indigenous birds and wildlife. If these are issues that are important to you, you are welcome to come along and give a hand (bring your spade and wellies), or just supervise! Coffee or tea will be available after the planting. For more information, give Beryl Jenkins a ring on 01424 883475

Scams: I feel this is so important as Scams worry so many people who then do not know what to do about it. So I am repeating it again.
