Breaking news - Trains stop running following fresh landslip

TRAINS have stopped running between Robertsbridge and Hastings this lunchtime (Thursday) following a landslip.

Train operator Southeastern says the landslip happened in the Battle area at around 1.45pm.

Buses will run between Robertsbridge and Hastings, extending journey times by up to 30 minutes.

Meanwhile a rail replacement bus service is also running between Hastings and Eastbourne stations after a drain collapsed underneath one of the tracks in St Leonards this morning.

Engineers are currently on site.
