BREAKING NEWS: Bognor's rubber ducks held to ransom

The story of the mysterious rubber ducks found in Hotham Park yesterday has taken an unexpected turn.

Bognor Town Council have now captured the yellow ‘intruders’ and are holding them to ransom.

Kirsten Fitzpatrick, events manager at BRTC, said: “We’re going to collect all the ducks up, bring them back to the office for a photo-shoot and hold them to ransom. On our Facebook page, we’ll demand that whoever left them there comes forward - or the ducks get it.”

Despite Bognor having duck related campaigns, Ms Fitzpatrick confirmed ‘they are definitely not our ducks’.

“I have absolutely no idea where they came from.

“We do have a follow the duck campaign going on, and have a black cab driving around London decorated as a duck - however, these aren’t ours.

“The same thing happened a few years ago, loads of yellow ducks appeared on the beach - it’s a Bognor thing.”
