Bogus traders
COUNTY Trading Standards officers have asked Bexhill Chamber of Commerce and Tourism to pass on a warning about bogus traders.
Officers have been contacted by a local business which has received a call from a company claiming it is working on an anti-bullying campaign to assist local schools.
The county education department office whichdeals with anti-bullying initiatives has verified that this is not the way the authority raises funds for such campaigns.
Businesses are urged to be vigilant if they receive unsolicited sales calls.
