Bognor Regis boy jailed

A 17-year-old Bognor Regis boy has been jailed for criminal damage and failing to comply with a rehabilitation order.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was given a two-year custodial sentence at Chichester Crown Court on September 7.

On the same day he was convicted of criminal damage and failing to comply with a court order.

The boy was arrested for criminal damage on September 6 after a fence was damaged in Outram Road, Felpham at 9.55am.

He had been previously given a two-year youth rehabilitation order on August 31, for aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and using a vehicle while uninsured, all on August 30, 2009 in Worthing, and failing to comply with a detention and training order and breach of conditional discharge.
