Body found on Eastbourne beach
Emergency services recovered a body on an Eastbourne beach this afternoon (Wednesday).
Police said officers were called to the beach at Holywell, at the bottom of the cliffs off Foyle Way, after the body of a woman had been found there just after midday.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said the coroner’s officer had been informed.
