Bodiam

Cricket Fixture: The village Cricket Club are away to Wittersham on the 23rd August with a start of 2p.m.

Dog Walkers: Sad to say that Bodiam do not have many responsible dog owners as both local dog walkers and visitors do not clear up after their dogs, you only have to look at the recreation ground, the footpath down to the village from Bodiam Hill and Levett’s Lane, this doesn’t give a very good impression of Bodiam but perhaps local dog walkers and visitors do not care!

Parish News: Many people have said to me that we have not had a Parish News for August, sad to say there will not be an August Parish Mag but it will be back in September.

Bogus Tarmac Contractors: ESCC have advised that bogus traders were approaching residents claiming to be members of ESCC/Kier and offering to tarmac driveways with leftover tarmac. Contractors were not part of ESCC/Kier anyone approached in this way should contact Police or Trading standards on 01323 463430.
