Bexhill's festive lights a hit
BEXHILL would never have achieved its festive lights without the backing of the Observer, organisers said this week.
A crowd estimated at between 7,000 and 10,000 strong turned out to take part in last Friday's switch-on ceremony.
On Wednesday, town centre and tourism action group chairman Steve Ayres said: "Without the active involvement and support of the Bexhill Observer, the Making Bexhill Brighter campaign would not have been the success that it has proved to be."
