Bexhill paramedic promoted
BEXHILL paramedic Huw Simmonds has recently been promoted to Clinical Standards Manager and now has the responsibility for ensuring professional standards across the whole of the East of the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Trust which includes East Sussex and Kent.
Huw, who up until his recent promotion was a Clinical Team Leader at Bexhill, joined the Ambulance Service in 1883 and is a State Registered Paramedic.
During his twenty five years service Huw has gained a wealth of experience having not only worked in the rapid response car unit and control centre but in 2001 he spent time in the Gambia training their Fire and Ambulance service basic first aid techniques.
In his free time Huw is a member of the Hunters Moon Border Morris Dancers.
