Battle PCSO commended at East Sussex police awards

Divisional congratulations were presented to 43 officers, 12 police staff, three volunteers and seven members of the public at the ceremony at Uckfield on Wednesday, November 11.
Chief Constable commendations were presented to 26 officers, two police staff and five partner agency staff.

Hide AdBattle Neighbourhood Policing Team, wildlife and heritage crime officer and police community support officer Daryl Holter was one of those who received awards.
“I am honoured to receive this award and would like to thank all those partners I work with for assisting me throughout the last two years,” he said.
“The work I have had involvement with has really opened my eyes to heritage crimes and how it impacts on us all.” The awards celebrated courage, outstanding service delivery, risking personal injury to save individuals from immediate harm, excellent leadership and communication skills, exceptional investigation and the dedication of volunteers for their long service.
The award winners were supported by Deputy Chief Constable Olivia Pinkney, HM Lord Lieutenant Peter Field, High Sheriff Juliet Smith and friends and family.

Hide AdEast Sussex divisional commander Ch Supt Di Roskilly said: “I was humbled by the actions of each of the award winners, and they should be really proud of their achievements.
“All have demonstrated exceptional professionalism and rose to the challenges they faced. Protecting the vulnerable members within our communities and catching criminals remains a priority within East Division and these awards reflect this admirably.
“It was fantastic to see members of the community we serve recognised for their outstanding actions to prevent crime from taking place.
“Also it was great to be able to recognise the work of some of our partners who have supported us in the delivery of services to our communities.”
