Attacks on horse spark plea to dog owners

IRRESPONSIBLE dog owners , who allow their dogs to roam without being on a lead, have come under fire after a West Sussex competition horse was attacked horse was attacked recently for the third time in two years.

Horse owner Ali Rummey of Mid Lavant has sent out a plea to dog owners to keep their animals on a lead when using public bridleways.

She and her daughter Charlotte (17) are both and try to minimise risks associated with riding by exercising thei horse Alfie on the few designated bridleways in the area rather than on the roads.
