Attacked dog attracts get well cards aplenty
LOLA has been enjoying sympathy and attention from local children, who made get-well cards for the six-year-old Newfoundland after she was attacked by another dog three weeks ago.
She was left injured after an English Bull Terrier latched on to her face.
Owner Frank Angus of Larkin Stores, Tarrant Street, Arundel, said: "She is an extremely popular dog and everybody comes by to see her when when she is well.
"When she was poorly a lot of concern was shown and a lot of children made get-well things for her"
