The Evening Book Group meets on Tuesday May 28 at Ashburnham Place. The book they will be reading is ‘Me Before You’ by Jojo Moyes. This is a bittersweet story of an unlikely couple, capturing the complexity of love, with a few surprises. It has been compared to David Nicholls’ bestseller, ‘One Day’. Ashburnham Chapel will be holding a special celebration of their Anniversary Weekend and becoming a Non-Denominational Chapel on June 2. They invite everyone to their Anniversary tea at 5 pm. The tea will be followed by a service of thanksgiving at 6.30 pm and they hope you will be able to stay.

It would help with the catering you could let them know if you plan to attend; email Fay on [email protected] or phone her on 07860 113413, or if it is easier just let Janet or Rhod know. If you decide to attend at the last minute and haven’t told them, don’t worry there will be plenty to go round!
