Appeal in Bognor after cyclist and car crash

Officers received a report that a Volvo car collided with a cyclist on the A259 Chichester Road close to the junction with Orchard Avenue.

The incident was at around 7.10pm resulting in minor injuries to the 53-year-old cyclist and minor damage to the car, which was driven by a 50-year-old man from Aldingbourne.

PC Trevor Johnson from the Road Policing Unit said: “We are investigating what led up to the collision and would like to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police. Please call 101 quoting serial 1271 of 23/05 if you have any information that could help us with our enquiries.”
