Angmering screening for star-studded Quartet

THE Golden Globe-nominated Quartet will be screened at the Angmering Community Centre tomorrow night (Saturday, June 8).

Directed by Dustin Hoffman, and starring Maggie Smith, Tom Courtenay, Billy Connolly, Pauline Collins and Michael Gambon, the film tells the story of the discord which breaks out at a home for retired musicians when Jean, the former wife of one of the residents, and an eternal diva, arrives amid the annual concert to celebrate Verdi’s birthday.

Tickets, price £5, are available from the community centre office, Woodies News and Angmering Framing and Stitches.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the film starts at 7.45.
