Firm welcomes new recruits

EUROP Assistance, one of the UK's leading insurance and assistance companies based in Haywards Heath, has welcomed its first new recruits following the creation of 40 jobs at its Sussex House headquarters.

The recruitment drive saw over 900 applicants apply for the roles, and following an intensive training scheme nine new Customer Sales and Service Agents have today received their certificates for completing and passing their training and are now ready to assist customers.

The Customer Sales and Service Agents will be working from Europ Assistance's brand new call centre, taking calls from customers wishing to purchase travel insurance.

Their training, which included full training on Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulation, has focused heavily on the high quality of customer service that is needed in order to provide customers with the information they require when purchasing insurance.

The company will welcome further new staff in the next four weeks, as Europ Assistance expands its team in phases to ensure that the very best training is offered to all.

New recruit Emma Frampton said: "The training we have received has been really comprehensive and I am excited to actually start assisting customers. I'm confident that with the training I have received I can offer customers the service they expect to assist them in their enquiries and to maintain the level of customer service for which Europ Assistance is renowned."

Paul Everett, Sales and Marketing Director for Europ Assistance, added: "I am pleased that in this difficult economic environment we are able to continue to grow our business and to recruit new staff to support our clients and their customers.
