Fontwell Burger King to reopen today

The fast food chain will reopen its doors to the public from lunchtime today and then daily from 11am to 7pm.

Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the restaurant and it will only be offering a takeaway service.

Store manager Robert Keal said: "We will be carefully following social distancing guidelines and have implemented a new queuing system for customers with floor spaces in the restaurant clearly marked.

"A priority for us is customer and staff safety, and all staff will be wearing PPE, while we are increasing our handwashing, cleaning and surface sanitising procedures in order to ensure we can effectively protect the team and our guests.

"At this time we will only be offering a takeaway service with a limited menu and are still accepting cash payments, though we encourage customers to pay using card or contactless methods to minimise contact risk."
