The money will be split between four charities, one of them being Brighton based charity RISE.

RISE is an independent, Brighton-based registered charity that helps people affected by domestic abuse.Rise has taken over 50 per cent more helpline calls since lockdown and have seen increased complexity of cases, which means that people accessing their services require an increased level of support particularly around child contact, mental health and housing.

The collection features 115 items comprimising of lingerie, swimwear, loungewear and sportswear with all profit from sales being donated equally between four chairities - AGE UK, Samaritans, East Cheshire Hospice and Rise. All four are on the frontline in the fight against Covid-19.

All styles are spring/summer themed, embracing a wide colour palette of practical solution lingerie, bright and eye-catching swimwear and newly launched clothing and sportswear.

Initial sales of Pour Moi’s ‘Charity Edit’ collection will run for two months , starting on May 1, 2020 and if successful, the promotion could run on for longer.

Michael Thomson, founder and owner of Pour Moi, said: “These four charities do amazing work all year round but are now suffering from the double whammy of massive increased demand for their services and a dramatic drop in funding – both caused by the CV-19 pandemic.

"Like lots of people, we were wondering what we could do to help the many vulnerable people in this time of urgent need, and the Charity Edit collection is our response. It will provide much needed funds for the charities in their greatest hour of need as well as help publicise the sterling work that each of them does.”

With 50 per cent of the sale price of the collection going directly to charity, Pour Moi is aiming to deliver at least £25,000 to each of the four charities with the potential of up to £500,000 being raised, if the whole collection is sold. The charities were chosen by Pour Moi’s staff and comprise two national charities, Age UK and Samaritans and two local charities – Rise, based in the vicinity of Pour Moi’s UK HQ in Brighton and East Cheshire Hospice, situated near Pour Moi’s main distribution centre in Macclesfield.
