VIDEO: Painting group to hold spring exhibition

The Horsham Painting Group is holding its spring exhibition and sale at the Quaker Meeting House, Worthing Road on Saturday, May 25 between 10am and 4pm.

Both framed and unframed original paintings and works of art by members of the group, together with a selection of cards will be on sale.

David Jeans, member of the painting group, said: “Members of the group work in different styles using different media so hopefully there will be something on show to suit most tastes.”

Refreshments will be available and admission is free.

The group, an enthusiastic collection of amateur artists meets every Tuesday during term time at the Forest School, Comptons Lane and is always keen to welcome new members.

On Tuesday, June 25, the group will hold an open evening at 7.15pm, where for no charge anybody can come along and have a go; materials help and encouragement will all be provided.
