Here, Jamie Lulham talks about what they have to offer.

The Swan Walk shop shut in January when Jessops went into administration, but the chain has since been rescued by entrepreneur Peter James.

The Horsham branch has been back in business since Friday.

Manager Chris Baxter told the County Times: “We’ve had quite a lot of people and saying welcome back, which is very nice.”

Chris, who used to be manager of Jessops in Crawley, was told about a month ago that he would be running the Horsham branch when it reopened.

“We’ll be the same as before, but obviously run by Peter James,” he said.

Chris added that they aim to focus on their ability to provide advice and customer service, helping them to compete with the much-vaunted threat posed by online shopping.

“Obviously the products are on display to play with,” he said, “and we can give hands-on advice.

“We’re trained very well, so people can get advice that they can’t get on the internet, and our prices now reflect website prices anyway.”
