You’ll be in Stitches at this comedy night

ONE OF Southampton’s favourite comedy nights is coming to The Little Theatre at Cavendish School.

Created by student Will Ainsworth, the night has been a regular showcase for some of Britain’s rising stand-up stars.

Regulars on the London and Brighton comedy scenes may well be familiar with names such as Matt Ewins - 2009 Chortle Student Comedy Award finalist - James Bran who has been a semi-finalist on ‘So You Think You’re Funny’, Alex Watts and many more Edinburgh comedy veterans.

Stitches will be coming to The Little Theatre on February 4, and will kick off the comedy aspect of the theatre’s diverse new programme.

Venue director Luke Sibson said, “We are thrilled to be hosting such an established comedy night as part of our forthcoming programme.

“It’s the first event of its kind in our theatre and is a great example of the top class art and entertainment that we will be bringing to Eastbourne.”

Stitches will be at The Little Theatre on February 4 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5/£.50 conc. and are available through or by phoning 744298.
