THEATRE: Swimming at the Ritz makes a return

SUSSEX-BASED actress Felicity Dean stars as the most famous courtesan of the 20th century in Swimming at the Ritz which returns to the Devonshire Park Theatre from March 14-16.

Felicity has enjoyed a successful career both on stage and on screen. She has been heavily involved with the work of the Royal Shakespeare Company and also The Royal National Theatre.

Swimming at the Ritz sees Dean reprise her role as Pamela Churchill Harriman, daughter-in-law of Sir Winston Churchill.

She is an adventuress, socialite and she is also facing one enormous crisis!

In her new role as US Ambassador to France she is under siege and holed up at the Paris Ritz Hotel.

Madame Harriman is being sued for 40 million dollars, having gone through her 115 million inheritance and the Trust Fund left for the Harriman grandchildren.

Evening performances are at 7.45pm, with a Wednesday matinee at 2.30pm.
