SHERLOCK Holmes - the Last Act is coming to the Lamb Theatre on March 13 (3pm).
It is 1916. Drawn from two years’ Sussex retirement for the funeral of his friend, Dr. Watson, Holmes returns to Baker Street to resolve ‘the last act’ of his epic career.
The play explores the mind of the real man - not the thinking machine.
An unexpectedly passionate and secretive man, with a cutting sense of humour.
Stripping away the infamous clinical façade, Holmes reveals fears and weaknesses, and the devastating consequences of the dramas of his formative years.
Starring Roger Llewellyn as Holmes, this one-man play described as ‘compulsory viewing’ by the BBC Arts Review features the World’s Greatest Detective confronting his most complex case of all - his own psyche.
Tickets cost £8 and £10, call 0845 680 1926 or book online at www.thelambtheatre.co.uk.
