Listen very carefully, we will say this only adaptation of the classic comedy ‘Allo ‘Allo begins tonight (Friday July 10) in Hailsham.

The Dicker Players production of Second World War sitcom will be performed at the Hailsham Pavilion from Friday July 10 to Sunday July 12.

The stage version of the long-running TV series created by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft tells the story of hapless cafe owner Rene, and his adventures in wartime occupied France.

Rene is accompanied by a host of familiar fun characters including Leclerc the Master of Disguise, Crabtree the British Agent, Italian Captain Alberto Bertorelli, and the waitresses Mimi and Yvette.

The amateur dramatics group, who take their name from their origins in Upper Dicker, East Sussex, specialise in comedy.

Evening performances run on Friday July 10 and Saturday July 11 at 7:30pm. Matinees are on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm. Tickets cost £10 and are available on 01323841414.
