The Devonshire Park Theatre is the setting for an acclaimed stage version of the classic It’s A Wonderful Life from November 19-21.

In a new production that premiered in London last year, the magical story of Frank Capra’s iconic film is retold as a radio play, complete with sound effects created live on stage. In this stage adaptation Oliver Stoney (Call The Midwife) takes the part of George Bailey with the remaining 32 roles divided between a handful of actors including David Benson, Richard Albrecht, Lynsey Beauchamp and Augustina Seymour. Performances at 7.45pm and Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets from £15.50 with concs available, at 01323 412000 or www.eastbournetheatres.co.uk.
