Give the January blues the Screaming Blue Murder treatment at the Winter Garden when Eastbourne’s most famous comedy club returns next Friday - and start this year with a laugh.

The bill features, as always, three top comics and Windsor returns to preside over the fun in the only way he knows best – brilliantly.

Steve Best tops the bill - and he is no stranger to Eastbourne’s comedy mecca but if you haven’t seen him before he has a visual style of comedy with an assortment of props, which creates a unique form of slapstick comedy backed up with astounding talent. He plays the guitar, can juggle five balls and ride a uni-cycle, all of which makes for an interesting experience.

Steve has performed his unique style of comedy all over the world, from Bali to the Falkland Islands, and played in near enough every comedy club in Britain.

He has supported Frank Skinner, Craig Charles and Omid Djalili on huge nationwide tours.

Steve co-produced the show Abnormally Funny People in 2005 and is one of two directors of Abnormally Funny People Ltd, set up in 2006, a company and show that were conceived to incorporate disabled comedians and actors into the mainstream arena. Steve is the ‘token’ non-disabled participant.

He has many TV credits including The Stand-Up Show (BBC1), The Big Stage (C5), and The Slammer (CBBC).

Irish comic Eleanor Tiernan joins the bill, described as an original, exciting, honest comedienne, this will be Eleanor’s first Screaming Blue comedy club visit and she is sure to amuse. She abandoned her civil engineering training in 2004 to become a stand-up comedienne. Within her first year she appeared on RTE’s The Liffey Laughs and BBC’s One Night Stand. In 2007, she starred in the Edinburgh Fringe play Help!, and made her solo show debut the following year. She then played to more than 120,000 people as the support act for her cousin, Tommy Tiernan, on his Bovinity tour,

She also played the ditzy waitress, Emer, on RTE2’s youth-orientated chat show The Cafe.

Completing the line-up is Yorkshire born Matt Green, who is a Cambridge graduate and former Footlights president. Matt is another Eastbourne comedy club favourite. An experienced and very funny comic he also acts – most recently seen as the harassed office manager to Peter Kay in the BBC hit Cradle to the Grave. Recent television appearances include Doctors (BBC One) and he recently appeared briefly on Shush, a new Radio 4 sitcom written by and starring Rebecca Front and Morwenna Banks. Matt will also be appearing on The Lentil Sorters on Radio 4, and has recorded guest roles in Fresh Meat (Channel 4) and Expenses Only (Radio 4) which will be broadcast in 2016.

His first full weekend of shows at The Comedy Store in London went well and he has been re-booked for weekends in London and Manchester in September 2016.
