The Bula Loop is a poignant new comedy presented by Eastbourne College tomorrow at 7.30pm which follows a day in the life of a family living with autism.
Adam dreams of travelling the world on a ‘Bula Loop’ round-the-world ticket, but his brother gets there first and announces his gap year plans over dinner. Written by 18 year old Tom J Page and inspired by personal experience, this is a sharply observed play where domestic bickering masks heartfelt pain. Tom takes the central role accompanied by professional performers Nick Collett and Deborah Clair, with Eastbourne College pupil actors George Tomsett and Hermione Wohlrab playing Adam’s younger siblings. The production supports the National Autistic Society with post show collections and ticket proceeds from Saturday’s performance. Tickets 01323 452255 or firstname.lastname@example.org
