Clive Francis, who was brought up in Eastbourne, brings his hugely successful adaptation of Dickens’ little Christmas book to the Devonshire Park Theatre for one matinee performance only on Wednesday November 18.
After the performance Clive will remain on stage for a question and answer session. In this unique adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, Clive Francis reprises his acclaimed RSC performance as Ebenezer Scrooge, inspired by Dickens’ first own reading and performance at Birmingham Town Hall. This clever production, adapted and devised by Clive himself, has received great critical and public acclaim around the country.
