Banned and risque songs from the 1920s and 1930s will feature in special ‘Underground Sussex Tour’ which is calling in at Eastbourne in mid-October.
Forget-Me-Not Wears The Trousers will be performed at the Under Ground Theatre on Friday, October 18 (7.30pm) - the middle leg of the tour which opens at Buttercup Cafe, Lewes, on Friday, October 4 and concludes at the Latest Musicbar in Brighton on Wednesday, October 23.
International cabaret artiste Forget-Me-Not slips past the censor and turns up the heat, performing those risque songs and celebrating Jazz Age sexual liberation and gender cross-pollination!
The show will be hosted and performed by the charming Sharon Elizabeth and accompanied on piano by Paul Lewis and Sharon’s lovely repertoire promises to keep the audience enthralled and titillated with wonderful songs.
