As the Under Ground’s Comedy Fortnight continues from 10-10.45am on Saturday November 14 it’s Eastbourne’s own Geoff ‘we have no courgettes’ Morley.
Geoff was until last year one half of the very popular duo Crompton’s Mule; now as a solo artist he performs a wide range of material still inspired by Lancashire including songs, monologues and parodies of songs. After the break it’s a return for Seaford’s John Cave. John, who runs the Seaford Folk Club, is known to many audiences for his interpretations of the wonderful songs of Jake Thackeray. But his repertoire is much wider than that. He’ll also be singing some numbers by Richard Stilgoe. So if you’re looking for a morning of laughter and relaxation please arrive early as this will prove to be a popular gig.
