Robert Scamardella is the next musician to give a lunchtime organ recital at St Saviour and St Peter’s church in South Street. He will play at 1pm on Monday June 20.
Paul Collins of St Savior’s described Robert as “an extraordinary young man with a prodigious talent.” He will play pieces from the German tradition which will include works by Bach and Reger. The programme is made up from music which he will be presenting for his Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists’ examination in July. This is an extremely difficult test and is considered by many to be the Gold Standard of musical performance.” Entry free and coffee served afterwards.
