What sort of a singer are you when no one is listening, when you are warbling away in the bathroom or kitchen?
Join Concentus and find out – the group which calls itself Eastbourne’s friendliest choir is looking for new members to join.
Concentus is celebrating its 10th year of singing together, currently around 90 members strong, and performs its main concerts and many other events in both Eastbourne and Seaford.
Concentus member Lynn Large said: “We always manage to produce a varied and fun-packed programme with pieces both traditional and modern. We are particularly looking for menfolk to join the tenor and bass ranges but all-comers are welcome.
“Don’t worry if you are rusty or are not able to read music. As long as you can hold a note and are open to learning then we would love you to consider joining us. Come along any Monday night (we start back on the 11th January) at 7.30pm at Upperton United Reformed Church on the corner of Upperton Road and Watts Lane. You are assured of a very warm welcome and you will be well looked after and helped to settle in. There is nothing to equal the joy of developing new friendships through the art of singing in community – come and see!
If you want more information then please visit our website www.concentus-sings.com or phone our friendly General Secretary; Evelyn on 01323 643358.”
