THE girls of Moira House School put on a variety of music and drama performances for their friends and family at Eastbourne’s Devonshire Park Theatre.
Around 150 girls took to the stage and treated the audience to an evening of entertainment. The first half featured musical performances, such as choirs, woodwind ensembles and a jazz band.
Most of the year groups took part in at least one musical item. Even the youngest girl in the junior school, aged four, sang Do-Re-Mi from the Sound of Music during the pre-prep’s performance.
The second half included four short plays by Alan Ayckbourn.
Peter Burge, head of music at Moira House, said, “We were delighted at how confidently the girls performed and with the high standard they all achieved.“
