Fans will be delighted to know that the talented duo R’n’R will be returning to perform at the Under Ground Theatre on Saturday August 15 at 10am.
After an eight month break one of the most popular and funniest duos on the East Sussex music scene will take to the stage once again. So, if you have haven’t seen the remarkable combination of Richard Walder (tea-chest bass) and Ron Turner (guitar), then this is your chance.
The pair are an established UGT favourite so be sure to get there early - your reward will be two hours of top-class music. Among the songs in their repertoire are Last Thing on my Mind, Dirty Old Town, and Mr Bo Jangles, but R’n’R has been developing a more soulful vibe and, its rumoured, even composing their own material. Throughout R’n’R’s show, the coffee-bar will be serving tea, coffee and home-made cakes, open until 4pm, for anyone dropping in on the latest foyer art exhibition .
