Madonna and Cash tributes

It was back to the 80s with Madonna tribute show Vogue.

Openers Get Into the Groove and Borderline got the people dancing early on.

It’s an impressive show from tonight’s queen of pop with high energy dance moves, accurate singing impersonation, multiple costume changes and all our favourite tracks. Like a Prayer, Holiday, and Vogue,

Saturday’s tribute was Kevin Lovatt- the Man in Black. He began with the classic line “Hello I’m Johnny Cash” into Folsom Prison Blues.

During Luther Played the Boogie, Big River and Tennessee Flat Top Box Kevin sang in deep bass – baritone.

He speaks in a way that comes across as sombre and honest, very much like the real character. This week Johnny Cash had the perfect voice. Madonna’s singing and dancing combo was phenomenal. Review by John McClean.
