London Philharmonic’s Congress performance

THE LONDON Philharmonic Orchestra continues its Eastbourne season at the Congress Theatre on Feburary 13 (3pm).

The orchestra, conducted by Nicholas Milton, is joined by pianist Haochen Zhang (Gold Medallist in the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition) performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, one of the most popular and beloved piano concertos.

Also on the programme is Brahms Sympony No.1 and the concert opens with the Overture to Der Freischütz by Weber, an opera based on the German folk legend of the same name.
