Tonight sees a countdown to Christmas at Printers Playhouse which is aiming to prove itself the perfect venue for gigs in Eastbourne.
Beauxtraps will play this evening from 8pm, then on Saturday OTB Sparking Soul, on Wednesday an open mic night with Nick Webb, and on Christmas Eve a Harvest Moon Christmas special with Jacob Szulecki. On News Year Eve you can celebrate Hootenanny with Big Al and his blues.
Chris Berry commented: “Printers Playhouse is gearing up to provide a full programme of live music which is not available anywhere else in Eastbourne, with the aim of introducing local and nationally known artists from a huge range of genres including blues, rock, folk, soul, country, world music, jazz, swing and funk, to name a few.
Downstairs features acoustic acts four nights a week, and upstairs the little theatre provides the perfect venue for bands and artists with a bit more oomph! The emphasis is on both pushing the musical boundaries and having a really good time, with new and exciting music putting Eastbourne firmly on the regional musical map.”
The venue also has a community Christmas show Sparkling Ashes by Richard Vincent - on December 19, 20, 21, 22 - then on December 24 family fun with Baubles Knows Best.
