10cc are coming to the Congress Theatre on March 2 (7.30pm).
Graham Gouldman, Rick Fenn, Paul Burgess, Mick Wilson and Mike Stevens will perform hit after hit, including legendary ones like Rubber Bullets, I’m Not In Love, Donna, Art For Arts Sake, The Things We Do For Love, I’m Mandy Fly Me, Life Is A Minestrone, The Dean And I and The Wall Street Shuffle.
The single Rubber Bullets was an international hit in 1973 and gave the group their first number 1 in the charts.
Their breakthrough album Sheet Music remained in the UK charts for six months and spurred the group on to do a tour of the US in 1974.
10cc temporarily split in 1976 when original members Kevin Godley and Lol Crème departed. It was Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart who decided to carry on as 10cc and gradually got another group together.
The band suffered a set back a few years down the line when Steward was seriously injured in a car crash. Thankfully, though, he recovered and he and the group made a steady return to music.
Tickets cost from £20-£24, call 412000.
