ONE of the finest organ players of his generation will be performing at St Andrew’s United Reformed Church on Wednesday, July 20 - the concert starting at 7.30.
Thomas Trotter is currently organist at St Margaret’s Westminster and also presides over the magnificent, recently restored, Hill organ in Birmingham Town Hall.
His workload involves a very hefty programme of some 40 recitals a year.
This he combines with his annual tours to Australia, The United States, Scandinavia and the rest of Europe.
His programme includes works by, Bach, Widor and Liszt (Fantasia and Fugue on BACH).
He will also play some of his own transcriptions of pieces by the popular American composer, Leroy Anderson.
Tickets cost £10, to include coffee and cream cakes in the interval.
