The Under Ground Theatre’s latest Young Musicians Showcase is being staged tomorrow (Saturday), running 5, from 7.45pm to 10pm.
Headlining are The Puppet Kings, a three piece rock band from Brighton formed in 2011. It compromises Tom on guitar and vocals, Neil on bass and Jake on drums.
Drawing influences from both rock and metal acts ranging from the likes of Foo Fighters to Megadeth they aim to create great songs and live shows with energy and passion.
Before them will be Roads to Ruin, an alternative/rock band from Eastbourne. The band was formed in December 2012 by friends Jason (guitar/vocals), Tommy (guitar) and Liam (drums) and been joined by Danny on bass.
Roads to Ruin like to combine brutally honest and introspective lyrics with solid rhythm guitar, melodic and creative lead guitar, expressive bass guitar and hard hitting, high intensity drumming to create their very own interpretation of the alternative rock genre.
The guys will be supported by a third local band on the up and up – Don’t Panic, the acoustic duo of Tom Ray-Gain (Acoustic Guitar) and Jack Ripley (Vocals).
Come along and support the stars of tomorrow - all tickets £4, doors open 7.15pm, show starts at 7.45pm.
