Get some top dance tips from the Tap Team which is holding workshops in Hailsham at the start of November.
The team, which includes Britain’s best choreographers and performers, will be at Summerheath Hall on Sunday, November 3.
Realising a wealth of talent in the area for tappers from nine years old, the team’s workshop runs from 10am-1pm for elementary/intermediate level (Grade 3 to 5) and then 2pm-5pm for intermediate/advanced level (Grade 6 and over). There is no top age limit.
Four of the Britain’s finest choreographer/dancers, with exceptional experience have been brought together to deliver unique three-hour tap dance workshops which can be tailored to specific needs.
Dougie Mills, Paul Robinson, Jenny Thomas and Joanna Goodwin are at the top of their profession and gathering their talent covers all tap bases from modern street style to Broadway.
International dance choreographer Dougie, who will lead the workshops, taught Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins to tap, has performed around the world as well as in the West End and was dance captain on the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
The Tap Team credits include BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance as well as Singing’ In The Rain and Crazy For You.
