EASTBOURNE Operatic & Dramatic Society will be performing Shakespeare’s wittiest comedy Much Ado About Nothing at the Italian Gardens from July 27-August 6.
The specially built arena features covered seating for the entire audience plus on-site toilets, bar (with hot and cold drinks available) and delicious homemade cakes.
A vivacious woman and a high spirited man both claim that they are determined never to marry.
But when their friends trick them into admitting each harbours secret feelings for the other, the pair begin to question whether their witty banter conceals something deeper.
Will Bendick and Beatrice drop their defences and embrace the future with open arms? Or Will it all turn out to be Much Ado About Nothing?
Schemes abound, misunderstandings reproduce rapidly and matches are made in this sparkling comedy.
Tickets cost £12, call 412000.
