EODS take on The Pillowman

EODS Productions are continuing their presentation of ‘fringe’ theatre and under Gareth Brighton’s direction and will stage The Pillowman at the Birley Centre, Carlisle Road, Eastbourne, from Thursday, October 24-Saturday, October 26 – performances 7.45pm, 4.45pm Saturday matinee.

The play tells the story of Katurian, a fiction writer living in a police state who is interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories, and their similarities to a number of bizarre child murders occurring in his town.

The Pillowman received the 2004 Olivier Award for Best New Play, the 3004-5 New York Drama Critics’ Award for the Best New Foreign Play and two Tony Awards for production.
